Probably not the thread for it but I remember him and that stupid ******* Martin Samuel belittling Crouch not long after we signed him and he got an England call up. Wooly said the booing he received from England fans was understandable, that his call-up was "a disgrace" and Crouch "will never be an international footballer", while Samuel sat there laughing and nodding. This was about 2006. Think Crouch has scored about 30 international goals since then LOL.

To be fair, there are usually 4 very good reasons not to watch The Sunday Supplement every week. Woolnough was just one of them.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostProbably not the thread for it but I remember him and that stupid ******* Martin Samuel belittling Crouch not long after we signed him and he got an England call up. bowel cancer is one of the most common cancer diseases. apparently, 90 percent people with bowel cancer dies .
anyway, cancer is a ****ing terrible thing. my mother sadly passed away last month because of this.
i never heard of this guy (i'm not from the UK ...) but still, it's sad to hear this. rip.Last edited by lickedlollipop; 18-09-12, 10:36 PM.

cheers all! things are turned upside down, that's for sure. i don't even have any interest to watch liverpool games..yet.
it's quite understandable due to the fact that I found out that she's on her deathbed (dad didn't want to tell me before) like 5 days before she passed away. + I was on holiday for 5 days before that, so you can imagine what shock that was for me, when I came home and saw her totally collapsed. it was a shock, now it's "just" a grieve, I guess. it's harder for me probably, i'm younger than most of the forum users and I lived at home..
anyway I really don't wish this horrible disease to anyone, not even my enemy (I don't have them, but still, I'm just saying). my mum had luck, she was poisoned by her own body and she didn't suffer that much, if I can say such thing. actually I don't know if she felt any pain, but we'll never find out...
I know i'm not the only one in this case, there are millions of people dying, but it's for the first time I actually confront with the death on such way.

Feel your pain, my mum passed 5 years ago, she had bowel and liver cancer, survived 24 doses of chemo and shrunk the cancer down to a 7 cm ball. Had an operation to remove it and died in recovery of a heart attack, a real shock as we thought she had it beat...
You only have one mum no matter how old you are...RIP
