I don't think Suarez would be wasted there at all, as you said he played there for Ajax and scored a bucketload. And he wouldn't be the typical wide left forward, he'd be given licence to roam and pull defenders all over the place. Might not get quite as good a goal return but then that's what the centre forward would be there for

I have a slight concern that with our style of play a player like Ba might not be the right choice as a starter as he simply doesn't get as involved as we would need him to be. Would be good as a sub, but I don't think he would be ideal as a starter.

Think we would be better getting wide players who can score for player who will be starting more often than not.

That's all well and good Matt, but if Suarez get's injured/suspended/needs a rest we're still in the same position of not having anyone to play the central striker role.

Apparently he's after something like 80k a week and his agent's after big money. Added to that his insurance is supposed to cost a small fortune due to his knee injury from a few years ago. Not sure what that'd total to but in this market he's easily a £15m striker.

We should drop our pursuit of Ince and go after Ba. I watched the games against Man U and Arsenal and he was brilliant,the real deal - pace, control, movement, finishing.

Ba, Sturridge, Suarez with Borini and Sterling as backup and we will start to look really good.
