I don't think he comes across particularly well in episode 2 of Being Liverpool either. He seemed lazy and disinterested.

I think we need to be a little careful of over analysing things we see on that show. For example, he looked like a bit of a dick talking to that american baseball player in episode 1, but then during the closing montage, it showed him getting his photo taken with the bloke. So I think it's probably fair to assume they must have got on after that.

I guess some people can relax a little more around the camera than others.
