    It's getting interesting at the bottom, Norwich, Burnley, Watford, Newcastle, Everton, Leeds and Brentford all deep in it

    I'd like it to be Everton, Newcastle and Burnley who go down. But I think Newcastle will start to pull away now, and I can't see Norwich getting out of it. Brentford look to be in free fall so I wouldn't be surprised to see them go down. It's a question of who has the quality to get a few wins.
    The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

      Just looked at the fixtures for the bottom sides Brentford have a big next 3 weeks: Newcastle (H), Norwich (A) and Burnley (H), win those and they will make big strides towards staying up. Lose them and they will likely be deep in the fight.

        But if Brentford lose all 3 it drags 1 team closer in and lifts 3 teams further away. I'd rather Brentford lost them all

          Newcastle are looking decent, Norwich actually play football, and Weghorst looks an astute signing for Burnley.

          So I'd say Brentford, Everton and Watford for me.

            I reckon Burnley are going to do plenty enough to stay up now. The only game they have lost in their last 6 was away to us and it was 1-0 so don't see them dropping as poor as their start was.

            Leeds I have thought could get out of it because they score goals but they have conceded more than anyone else in the league and that could come back to hurt them.

            Brentford are in terrible for too but they have the points on the board so that is small comfort for them.

                3 from Brentford, Leeds, Everton, Watford and Norwich IMO, whoever can put some sort of run together or at least beat the others in head to heads will be the ones to survive at the moment they all look to be struggling to see where their next point is coming from.

                  I Think Brentford next 3 are all against bottom 7 teams so definite gained and dropped points for some teams

                    You'd imagine that Leicester and Villa who both have 27 points are safe.

                    Brentford and all the teams below are the ones in trouble.

                    Looking at recent form Leeds and Brentford have the most to worry about. No wins in the last 5 for either of them and only 1 point in those games.

                      Yeah, they are definitely safe. If they were in 16th or 17th with that many points maybe but they need so many teams to pick up points to put them in danger they can be ruled out.

                        Results today put a gap between the bottom 7 and the rest, also a 4 point gap between Brentford and Leeds makes it look like 3 from 5. There looks no way out for Norwich

                          Brentford played 4 more than the Ev so not sure they are out of it yet but defo 3 from 6 or is assuming Norwich gone 2 from 5

                              A Watford win would put them back in the mix where alot of people had them and Norwich as gone, If Leeds could get a win and some confidence Everton would need to do the same or they are in trouble...
