That's the dream scenario.

Leeds pull clear of Everton / Burnley with a win against Citeh on Saturday night and it also keeps us top of the league.

They both have to play Chelsea at home and Arsenal away

They both play Palance and Brentford although Everton are at home for both and Leeds away

Leeds also have City and Brighton at home with Everton going to Leicester and Watford.

Leeds with a 4 point headstart every time for me.

Leeds need a win or two still and they play Man City at Elland road next.

They could have Philips and Bamford back for that game too I think. Plus if they need the points themselves they are one of the few teams that will run all game against City and are not as wide open to play against under their new manager.

You would expect City to beat them, but they might be capable of a getting a shock draw against City too.

I think Everton are going down. Even with them trying to spoil for an entire game and cheat and time waste and we still beat them fairly comfortably.

Aye. Am a bit baffled by the praise they got last night and again this morning in some quarters. Being lauded for keeping the game at 0-0 for an hour.

End result is another loss and no sign of that "we kept them out for an hour" trophy.

Did not hear Carragher or about of the other ****s making a big deal of Brighton holding out for almost an hour. It was all talk of class eventually telling, and how it was inevitable City would have found a way.

Then again outside of City fans nobody really gives a **** about City for long, and they will not get as many views, clicks or bums on seats watching screens if someone says something about them whereas OTT comments regarding the more heavily supported clubs gets views.

For me it is just whether the new manager (or caretaker manager) bounce continues for Burnley. They have the easier fixtures. It is up to them.

Burnley have momentum now, I think they'll finish above Leeds and Everton

draw for Leeds tonight so now 5 points ahead of Everton. Means Everton almost certainly need a minimum of 6 points, possibly 8. I'm sure Leeds can get at least a draw from those last two fixtures even if they lose all of the next 3.

I think Everton will need at least 3 wins to stay up. They have Brentford & Palace at home and Watford away.

I must admit the 5/1 on Leeds going down does look tempting, But then Everton are total gash.

Think about how much you'd willingly pay to see the blue ****e relegated then put it on them to stay up - currently even money at william hill.
