    Jack Robinson

Needs a thread of his own because he is going to be challenging for that left back spot this season and rightly so, his performances have been excellent. Definitely one for the future and if he keeps working hard he will have a bright one.

Can't remember him putting a foot wrong last night. Very impressive.

Played really well 1st half, suffered a bit 2nd half as we lost all shape and cohesion.

In 12-18 months time I can see him being similar to Bale in terms of physique and athleticism but he's already much better defensively than Bale ever was.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

He plays with unbelievable assurance and composure for a kid of his age. He looks like a seasoned full back already.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

He was very good when he came in last time I seem to remember keeping Walcott in his pocket for 90 minutes.

Got to be close to being a starter for us with Johnson on the right

I'd sooner be played Robinson on the left and Johnson back at right-back than keep playing GlenJo out of position.

How good is it to have all these young talented players coming through.. I really hope the system is still in place responsible for this.

Been impressed with Robinson every time I've seen him play.

He's up there with Suso and Sterling as one of our top prospects. Very composed and very mature.

a competent performance last night. he is bound to have the odd wobble, but he is probably a better option than enrique right now, and by the end of the season he will be excellent.

                  stick with him, Brendan
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I really hoped that Enrique would find a new lease of life in the new system but he looks as vulnerable as before, people have worked out how to get past him as he's so focussed on going shoulder-to-shoulder with attackers rather than taking the opportunity to get a foot in.

Robinson played exceptionally well last night. Kept it tight, kept it simple - even showed flashes of Hansen/Agger with some of his forward runs. Really exciting prospect who keeps a low profile and just gets on with it. Really like him, think he'll be a mainstay of the first team for a long time if he gets a good run of games to show consistency.
Very much in the Brendan Rodgers blueprint for how we should be playing...

I keep thinking back to that game he had against Arsenal and even though Walcott gets some stick he is still a very tricky customer to defend against. Robinson had no issues though. Even for pace he would find a way to get back and get in the way of the ball. He was fantastic that day against Arsenal

Thats my favourite thing about him. He's not like "Cribs with Jay Spearing".

Supported by 3 senior defenders making individual mistakes, he remained surprisingly assured. It was him I was expecting to make a costly error actually so am happy to see him proving me wrong.
