It's more a statement. I was aware of him before he joined the 1st team squad, for reasons that tell me he has an attitude.

in a ideal world though, we would have a good squad and not be relying on these young players..... if we sent Sterling to someone like Wigan for the season (or 6 months) the same way as Arsenal did with Wilshere, Chavs did with Sturridge..... then we would have a better player in the long run - the philosophy is simple - let the lad make his mistakes in someone elses team.....

The fact that our squad was toilet, meant that we were not able to do that though.

Next season, then a loan move for the likes of Shelvey, Robinson, Flanagan (although i reckon he will fade away), maybe Suso depending on who we buy and also maybe the likes of Ibe, Sinclair or Texaco........all these players would benefit going on loan to a Wigan, Bolton or whatever.....

I think that's the difference between those other sides and they can afford to ship out their youngsters for a season or two on loan. We have to keep our youngsters as backup where they hardly ever play. Two years down the line the likes of Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal have a player who has 18 months Premiership experience who they can make an informed decision as to whether they are going to make it or not. If they decide that the player isn't going to make it with them, he has 18 months experience so they can sell him for a few million to Sunderland or someone. We on the other hand end up with a player who has played 20 games most of which are as sub, the player is 2 years older and we still don't know if they'll make it. When we do move them on it's usually because they are out of contract or for a few 100k to a Championship side.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Just saw the highligths of the Wolves vs B`ham game and it looked like Robinson had a mare. Totally outplayed at times and that was in the C`ship. Does anybody know how he`s been doing there?

Haha, snap, was just about to post the same. Everything they showed him doing was awful. That backpass

Should have got a second yellow too for the silly pen he gave away.

The backpass, the pen, the tackle for the yellow and several times being exposed. If this is his normal standard he`ll be gone very soon. But he`s played 100 times better for us, so hopefully it was just one of those days.

This is the main advantage of loaning a young player out, he gets game time but also irons out the mistakes in somebody else's first team.
                      We come not to play.

He`s been playing regulary during their recent good run, so he can`t be as bad as it looked today. I have high hopes for him, that`s probably why I really noticed his performance. And it was only highligths I saw.

As I`m bored I had a look at what Wolves fans say about him. It looks like he`s been doing really well, but had a really poor 2nd half today (but so did the rest of the team). So, all in all, it looks like the loan is doing him well which is good news.

He looked pretty non-plussed when he handled the ball too. He had that stupid 'I don't give a toss' look, the same when he told Suarez to 'f-off'. Needs an attitude adjustment I feel

Yep, and it is a shame because he seemed to be developing very well up until that stupid and rather embarrassing moment v Oldham.
