I'd quite like us to sign Eriksen.

Ajax 0-1 City. Completely undeserved really.

1-1 Great finish by De Jong
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

Am i missing something? Why are AC Milan 3/1 to beat Malaga?

George Hamilton is on form tonight:

"Moisander, the man with a name like a Scandinavian detective, may have solved the case for Ajax tonight!"
That rug really tied the room together.

I think it really shows how much worse the top PL sides are than a few years ago. It makes it even more frustrating what has happened to us. Bloody Hicks and Gillet (and Purlsow).

I do wonder if we won't see Rafa take over at City at some point. Mancini has always been a bit suspect in Europe, not sure why though as his approach in the abstract seems ideally suited.

A Rafa, fully committed to the project, with City's resources would be potentially devastating for the rest of the league, and in time, Europe.
                  Mancini is completely inept IMO.

I actually think Mancini has done a decent job in the league up until now. This season though he seems to be struggling to maintain things. The past has shown that doing so is difficult though.

                    Agree about Rafa (obviously).

Huntelaar has scored to put Shalke 1-0 up against Arsenal too, not looking like a good night for the English clubs

Oh, agreed, he did win the league, so inept is probably to strong...........but is that enough ? Especially when they all but stumbled over the finish line on the last day, with a squad that should really have put that league to bed.
He's done OK, but never seems to exude that feeling of being in proper control of the playing side of that club......although the one managerial decision he absolutely nailed was the keeper situation when Shay Given was still there. He made his decision to install Hart as No.1 and has been more than justified in that decision.
Something his counterpart at ManU is struggling with.

'cause Milan have been utter muck this season

Dortmund really have a fantastic side. They might be dark horses this year

A brace for Jackson Martinez. Speaking of players we were heavily linked with that we sure could use, he is one of them. His goalscoring ability is fantastic. Very good player and would've been a good match with Suarez. Although now that he's played for Porto his value will probably double by the end of the season, so it's no longer a possibility. Would've been one hell of a bargain for the prices being quoted when we were supposedly interested.
