A brace for Jackson Martinez. Speaking of players we were heavily linked with that we sure could use, he is one of them. His goalscoring ability is fantastic. Very good player and would've been a good match with Suarez. Although now that he's played for Porto his value will probably double by the end of the season, so it's no longer a possibility. Would've been one hell of a bargain for the prices being quoted when we were supposedly interested.

Oh.......just re-iterating the man's own words when he speaks about his employment options, certainly not impinging on his character.
He really took to us as a club, as a culture, as his home and that was visibly present in how he wanted the club to be run, about how hard he worked to make his vision a reality, only for it to be stopped in its tracks for reasons to long (and heart-breaking) to go into.

Rafa, with the same zeal and tenacity for prolonged success, at City with the resources to match his professional goals would be an extremely potent combination.

To an extent, I've only seen a couple of Porto games this season, but I definitely think he's a lot better than Bent in that (well all) regards. His touch or technique might not always be perfect, but he definitely has the ability to do so. Both illustrated in his 2 standout goals. The backheel against Sporting and the Ronaldinho vs Villarreal esque overhead kick. I'll post them both below so you get the gist.
