I really can't see how they're going to replace horseface. There are not many strikers who can score over 35 goals in the English top flight.

I'm glad he's gone, but I'm sure that scum will spend at least another 30m in this window, bringing in a tackling central MF player and a striker.

I thought they did well without him at the end of last season. The added mobility of Saha brought more out of Rooney. I think if Smith returns to fitness they have a very formidable strike force. If I was in Fergies position I would consider using Giggs/Rossi to fill in up front and concentrate my efforts on getting two class CMs.

The way Man U play they attack well as a team and will always score goals. However last season they struggled in several games and particularly in Europe because they couldn't keep the ball or win the midfield battle.

This also means that Real Madrid have really spent well this transfer window (even if they are all 'short-term' signings) I can see Capello really having a good go at Barca and the Champions League this year.

What I don't believe we'll see this year is the Galacticos imploding like they have the previous few seasons.
