    Tom Ince

no doubt this lad has some talent. the mail reckon we are nailed on to bid for him, but who knows...

Liverpool have made a £5million bid for Thomas Ince in a dramatic move to take the England Under 21 midfielder back to Anfield.
Brendan Rodgers is keen to recruit Ince’s attacking flair and eye for goal and hopes to reach an agreement with Blackpool in time to complete a deal at the start of the January transfer window.
Blackpool have yet to come back with an answer, according to Anfield sources, but Liverpool are confident of signing him for a second time, amid growing suggestions that both Ince and Matt Phillips may have to be sold before the season is out.
Southampton and Swansea are both hot on the trail of Phillips and believe he could be prised away from Bloomfield Road for £6million in the New Year.
Both have also enquired about Ince, though Liverpool are in pole position after making a concrete offer, in the wake of his England under-21 appearance against Northern Ireland on Tuesday night.
Manchester United have been linked with the 20-year-old, and do have an interest in him, but Rodgers has made the first move after vowing to reinforce his attacking options.
Ince joined Liverpool as a junior in 2008 and was given a squad number at the start of the 2010-11 season. He never made a Barclays Premier League appearance for them, though, and readily accepted Blackpool’s offer of a two-year contract, with an option for a further 12 months, after beginning to despair of making the breakthrough at Anfield.

If he wouldn't sign for us when he was here, why on earth would he agree personal terms now?

Different manager, better terms, more chance of playing?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Rodgers went to scout him a couple of months ago so I'd say we're interested.
                Are we winning?

2 months or 2 weeks, don't really know for sure. He may well have been watched more than once though.

Only LFC would release a player for nothing and sign him back just over 12 months later for £5m

However if rodgers wants him and thinks he can do a job then fair enough.

                        Barca / Fabregas?

Ok, not 12 months, but much more costly.
                        Oh I don't know.
