Is the EPL getting more competitive or are the top teams just getting ****ter? Personally I think the smaller teams are getting better. There are some good sides now. Swansea, Everton and West Brom have all upped their game.

The top teams are getting ****ter as well as the teams coming up being better prepared and financially better off / Ran better I think.

Look at the Champions League, our league holders have been knocked out the group stages likely 2 years running. United last season and a piss easy group this season. Yes Chelsea won it but if it wasn't for a huge amount of luck both Barca and Bayern could have stuck 5 past them.

I've always liked Di Matteo until he became manager. Then he just became a big tw*t. Guess its part of the job description at Chelsea. The sly underhanded digs he was having about Liverpool being a 'smaller' club always treating games against Chelsea as their cup finals didn't go down well with me.
