I don't get Chelseas stance with lampard. It's not like they are short of a few quid. Utd have always kept the odd player for experience. Lampard still scores. Fans favourite too.

Surely that will be swiftly rebuffed. He was rated at 20+ this past window when Arsenal wanted him.
Quality player though, would be sickening if they got him for that."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey

Yeah but he's a known cunt now, his reputation has suffered massively since the Euros when it became public knowledge that he's a whinging little ****house. Wenger has been massively put off him as have most other major clubs who wanted him.Originally posted by Harv View PostSurely that will be swiftly rebuffed. He got subbed off during the Euros, wouldn't shake hands with the guy who came on for him, snubbed Laurent Blanc and he was also involved in the dressing room incident beween Blanc and several other French players.
He's also been arrested for hitting a restaurant owner, frequenting prostitutes and punching a lad who hit on his sister.

United could face an uphill battle with Tottenham over the possible signing of Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha.
If the Reds are serious about chasing the 20-year-old England international, it would set up a juicy head-to-head with Spurs supremo Daniel Levy who has got under Sir Alex Ferguson’s skin over their signing of former Reds FA Youth Cup winner Zeky Fryers from Standard Liege.
Tottenham are understood to have leapt to pole position in the race for Zaha.
Chelsea and Arsenal are also keen on the winger but Spurs are said to be prepared to do the deal in this month’s transfer window and loan the player back to Selhurst Park. All other parties prefer to wait until the summer before sealing any move.
Meanwhile, another former United target and one-time Tottenham midfield playmaker Luka Modric has admitted he’s struggling in Spain with Real Madrid.
United’s Champions League last 16 opponents bought the Croatian last summer for £32m when they left all other suitors behind with their outlay. But despite his success in the Premier League, Modric has not transferred his impact to La Liga. The 27-year-old has been voted the worst transfer of the season in the Spanish League and confesses it has been hard at the Bernabeu.
“This is Real Madrid I understand there is great pressure for new signings to succeed here,” he said.
“I’m not making excuses, I am not that kind of person, but it is very challenging to adapt to life at a big club like Madrid.
“I have had a few good performances, if not in every game, but I believe that I can prove I have something to offer.”
Modric has scored only one goal all campaign in just eight starts for Jose Mourinho’s side.
United fans and critics alike still see the Reds creative part of the midfield as an area that could be improved and revisiting the Modric avenue may well appeal to Ferguson.
While the United boss is unhappy with Spurs, he has attempted to smooth things over with the Newcastle fans by telling them they are “up there with the best supporters in the game”.
Ferguson caused outrage when he described Newcastle as a “wee club in the North East” during his recent spat with Magpies boss Alan Pardew.
But he told a Sunday newspaper: “It was never my intention to belittle Newcastle fans. I want to clear up any misunderstanding.”

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis would prefer to see Mario Balotelli partner Edinson Cavani at the San Paolo than consider selling his star striker to Manchester City.
The Uruguayan forward fired Napoli back into third place in the Serie A table courtesy of a fine hat-trick in a 4-1 win over Roma, furthering his reputation as the envy of a host of top European clubs by bringing up his 20th goal of the season.
De Laurentiis has admitted rejecting a 55million euro (£45million) offer for Cavani from an unnamed club in the summer but revealed the 25-year-old does have a 63million euro (£51million) release clause in his contract.
City striker Balotelli has been mentioned as a potential makeweight should the Barclays Premier League champions look to bolster their forward line with Cavani, but De Laurentiis has other ideas.
He told Gazzetta.it: "City are considering letting Balotelli go so they can move for Cavani? I would prefer to see Balotelli playing with Cavani here at Napoli.
"Teams tend to hold onto their best players in January. You take a big risk making big investments now.
"There is still time for us to bring in new faces but we must be cautious. On January 31 you will see what moves Napoli have made."
