Wonder how long before they go for a French Manager? I am sure there are some get out clauses in that 8 year contract.

Sissoko for around €2M is a great, great piece of business as was signing Debuchy... as for the others, I'm really not sure.

Said to a Newcastle-supporting mate of mine last night - Newcastle could **** their own season right up here by signing so many new players from a weak league and trying to bring them all into the team at once.

One of the guys is a left back, another is a centre back and Debuchy at right back... so he could have three quarters of his defence completely new. Shift Santon forward?

I personally think he'll go three in the middle - Tiote holding, Cabaye spraying the ball around and Sissoko as the box-to-box but again that's a serious change to be making mid-season.

I think Newcastle made some bargains there.
                Are we winning?

As far as I can tell Tiote and Cabaye have been fit for only about 50% of the games this season and their defence has been terrible. Buying a whole new side was probably more or less a necessity if they want to move away from the relegation battle.

Still not sure who will score the goals for them though.

                              Exactly.

I'd pay £8M for him or £14M for Henderson over £15M for Zaha, he's good... but he's not worth that sort of outlay on little evidence that he's good enough.

I hope this turns into another Bebe.
