The little I've seen him he looks a good player, decent with both feet and I think he'd have a big part to play in our team but can't see us getting him now.

He should have took his chances last Jan. He had a choice of top clubs and now he's lost all those options. He goes to a team like Cardiff and he's at least two years away from the top clubs again. Plus there will be a newer younger flavour of the month.I'm guessing that's why he's said no.Akloppalypse Now !

Hmmm. If you have watched him play then I find that opinion hard to believe. He is an outstanding talent and his record is better than Luis Albertos (they are totally different players) in terms of goals and assists. What is remarkable is, he has done all his damage from the wing tooOriginally posted by Assassin View PostCan't see this happening. Rodgers said we had bought the squad players required the next signings would be first 11 signings. Ince is not that goodMy kebab comes with chilli sauce

I can't help but wonder if people think that he has been found out or really had his head turned and thought he'd made it when he was liked with moves in January, as the first half of the season his form record was excellent:
Played 28 Goals 17 Assists 10
In the later part of the season (from 2nd week in February to end of the season his record was no where near as good
Played 16 Goals 1 Assists 4
Now there could be a number of other reasons for this tiredness crap management (his father took over at about this time
) or it could be that no-one is prepared to pay what Blackpool wanted, but given Zaha had a poorer record (statistically) and has gone for a much higher fee than is being rumoured for Ince you have to feel that there is something.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Yeah like Man U are stupid for paying so much for Zaha?
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

And if we offered £3.5m and took 30% of that they'd accept why? He'll go next season on a free IMO unless someone offers him big wages.Originally posted by frank the tank View PostThey owe us 30% of a fee anyway - so if he went for 7.5m, then they'd only get a little bit above 5mVive la France

Exactly. And we'd only get £2.25m back.Originally posted by frank the tank View PostThey owe us 30% of a fee anyway - so if he went for 7.5m, then they'd only get a little bit above 5m
Whereas if we offered £20m then they'd have to give us £6m back that we could then spend on another player as well.
.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.
