Why do you want him to be unemployed in the summer?
So he's available in the summer when we're looking for a manager yet again. And unless we finish in the top 8 at the very least, that's exactly what should be happening.
Knowing FSG, they'll probably over look him for someone who's achieved nothing in the game, like Martinez for instance.

I don't think we'll be looking for a manager in the summer.

We won't be changing the manager in the summer. May was well put that one out of your mind to save yourself some torment.

Even if there's no improvement and we finish in the bottom half of the table? Should have just kept Woy if we were going to give a manager a set amount of time regardless of results.

I don't think FSG do that, Hodgson and Kenny sort of prove it, don't they ?

Yes, even then.

how do you actually judge improvement? if the end game is to have a set way of playing that is similar to he had at swansea yet better, then you can only do this over time, with a gradual change of players. people seem to want instant results whilst we're starting over. you give a bike to a 3 year old and he'll fall off, you keep putting him back on until he masters it. we could finish 12th, 14th, 7th yet next season could be completely different. this season if you believe in the philospy that brendan has preached is a learning one. there's not a single game we go into where you can predict the result with any confidence. thats where we are at. changing managers again would be foolish, in fact a waste of time and money. i'm afraid everybody from fan to board level needs to get behind the boss and hope it works. will it. the fans need to start earning their reputation again. anfield has been a morgue for so long. lets make it loud every minute of every game.

Be prepared to be intensely disappointed. Intensely.
Barring a total collapse in results and performance Rodgers is going nowhere.
