    Drogba!

Jesus christ, I never used to rate the guy, but he is turning into an unstoppable juggernaut.

Cisse or Drogba. Did we ever have a choice? I remember everyone thinking we had got the better deal

The only thing I can think of that will stop him now is a severe drop in confidence or maybe a Mack truck....

He's looking good for player of the year thus far. I hate his f*cking guts but credit where credit's due, the pr!ck has really raised his game however he's still capable of some incredibly poor finishing. I'm sure he'll return to his normal sh!te form before too long.

Yeah his finishing for the most part is shisa, yet he still manages to pull a gem outta the bag every so often.

Just goes to show how important confidence is to a striker (or any other position).

Now if bellamy and gerrard could just get a litle of what drogba has, we could be onto something...

I agree with you. Confidence has a huge roll to play for all strikers and Drogba's playing the best football of his career at the moment. The thing about Drogba is that he isn't just scoring against the likes of Watford, he's winning important matches for Chelsea for example against ourselves and Barca.

I'm sure it also has something to do with what moroniho was talking about. saying that their midfield is performing at 100%. This is true. Drogba doesn't only have the confidence in his own ability, but also in the ability of the chelski mid to get him the balls. I've noticed this season that chelski's midfield doesn't seem to be scoring as many goals as last season. It's mainly the strikers (Drogba) who are getting the goals. I wonder if this was their plan to accomodate shevvers? Supply supply supply. Doesn't seem to be working for him so far (or for fat frank ).

I like him. He has character. He's powerful and knows where the goal is. A better version of Emile Heskey.

No doubt about it. I said as much on a post last week DS; he's scored some class goals this season and is fast becoming THE important player for the Chavs.

                  Great form this year.

Best striker in the league on current form.

Well worth his £60k a week pay rise.....

he's been the best player in England this season, if not Europe.

He reminds me of Purple Aki. I can just imagine him in the Chelski dressing room asking Frank to do squats and JT if he can feel his muscles!
