    They aren't for watching, they are for coaches to try things out. Seems to be going pretty well on that front according to the radio. Although they have had to swallow their pride as they were earlier saying it was a complete waste of time to play 4-3-3.

    In my opinion we have to use friendlies to try out new formations and tactics. We can play a solid 4-4-2 any time we want and we pretty much know our 11 best players for that formation. The only way to learn what changes could be used in tournament to change things is to experiment in friendlies. It is a bit insane to do so away in important fixtures. Not that McLaren would be dumb enough to do that ........ doh!

        Lampard dallied on the ball in midfield then gave it away trying a killer pass when, leading with 4 minutes to go, a simple pass retaining possession would have been a much better option. Holland attack, Ferdinand concedes the throw-in then Robinson makes another appalling decision (even worse than his ill-advised dash from his line in the first half) and Holland equalise.

        Are Lampard and Robinson really good enough?

                      Only hightlight of the game was the performance of Micah Richards, that lad looks fcuking class, brilliant 1 on 1.
                      I want him at Anfield but it won't happen, isn't such a pity a Club like ours can't go for the best British/Mostly English talent about?
