I think Yorke makes a valid point. Bale's reason for going down is to con the ref into giving him a free kick or penalty.

It's almost funny how they change their stance to suit the circumstances, its Bale so therefore he doesn't go down for no reason and at that pace how could he stay on his feet - foreign player gets clipped and goes down, he's looking for that touch to go down or he could have stayed up, why go down? Ludicrous.
