Sounds like he could be thinking about accepting a pay cut to stay if he really said that.
tbh i'm losing interest, i have a feeling we are just a pawn in a game of cat and mouse between him/his advisors and his preferred prospective suitors.Last edited by Vermilion; 20-01-13, 02:48 PM.

A few things I've been thinking:-
1. Would Stevie have said anything this morning if at the very least there wasn't a real interest from us?
2. What kind of guy is sneijder? Is he the type that would want to save face with the inter fans and make it clear he was forced out by the club? Some players like to leave on a positive with the fans when they move on....this could explain some of the stories about him staying at Inter
3. Am I crazy for checking twitter every 10 minutes for the latest "news"?!?!

He won't be staying at inter. He has burnt his bridges there big time.Originally posted by Vermilion View PostSounds like he could be thinking about accepting a pay cut to stay if he really said that.

Moratti: "A nice chat with Sneijder"
Sunday, 20 January 2013 15:03
MILAN - "I met Sneijder. I wanted to have a chat with him, I thought we needed to. Have we made peace? I don't think there was ever a war in the first place, and certainly not with me personally. Did we chat to see if we were all moving in the same direction? Which one? It's a surprise... Is he close to a move to Galatasaray? Yes, I think so." This is what president Massimo Moratti had to say to Sky Sport 24's Matteo Barzaghi when asked about this morning's meeting with the Dutch midfielder.
Sneijder added the following: "I spoke a lot with president Moratti because we have a good relationship, we had a good talk, nothing more than that. He said that it's looking like I'll be off to Galatasaray but there's still a slim chance I could stay? What the president said is exactly right. The Inter fans expect me to stay? Inter fans are the best around, I've won everything here and I'm happy here. Now I don't know whether I'll be saying, 'I am happy here' or 'I was happy here'. One of two things could happen, we'll see."
