AVB and Spurs going along very well. He's a bit of a cunt but at this stage it looks a good appointment.

You think? I think they'll implode at some point (as they always do). I also think their defensive organisation is suspect. They've got a lot of pace on the counter (Bale and Lennon) but bar that, they're pretty average IMO. We played them off the park when we went there and should have beaten them by 3 or 4.

2nd half we were better than them no doubt, but not first half. They've got better players than us. Depresses me.

They've got a more settled team but we're not that far off. We totally dominated. It was a one sided game from around the 30th minute onwards. We just couldn't score and I remember they got a dodgy free kick from a textbook dive from Bale. I remember that I agreed with Rodgers's assessment after the game that it was a 'superb performance'.

We were very good, it was encouraging. Can't argue at the moment though - they've finished above us for about 3 seasons on the trot and they're 11 points ahead of us ATM moment.

Yeah no argument on that front but think we're closer than what the league table shows.
