If we really thought he is good enough we would've signed him right away rather than to bring him for a trial only.
I have no problem with him going in the different direction.
Move on.
And we have £4m more to play with. At least it gave us something to talk about for the last 24hrs.

Who cares if he was coming for a trial. If he's doesnt come here and prefers to get guaranteed first team football elsewhere then **** him. He clearly doesnt think he's really good enough to cut it at a big club
You ****ers crack me up!

Beeb.
Southampton are close to signing Norway defender Vegard Forren after the 24-year-old pulled out of a week's trial with Liverpool.
The Molde player had been expected to arrive on Merseyside on Tuesday after Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers invited him for a trial this week.
However, Southampton have now had a £3.5m offer accepted for Forren, who has since travelled to the south coast.
Everton had previously been interested in the defender, only for that to cool.
Liverpool had been reluctant to bid for Forren until they had seen him train with the first-team squad.
Rodgers remains keen on signing a centre-back during the transfer window and is likely to allow Sebastian Coates to go out on loan if he is successful.

Shipped back to Norway
Southampton have sold Vegard Forren back to former club Molde just six months after signing him, Press Association Sport understands.
Forren was Southampton's only signing during the January transfer window and penned a three-and-a-half-year deal at St Mary's.
However, the defender underwhelmed manager Mauricio Pochettino and his staff, failing to make a single first-team appearance for the club.

And I assume outrage (me included
) that we missed out on him to lowly Southampton.
