He had a good 2nd half.Originally posted by danperkins View PostGibbs is going to be excellent IMO. Brilliant going forward and improving defensively
But he's 23 now so it's about time he stepped up really, if he can become more consistent he'll be fine for Arsenal, not the level of either Cole, obviously or even Clichy for me.Vive la France

He looked so fragile defensively when he burst onto the scene but has improved. Still a bit naive positionally but has an incredible engine going forward.Originally posted by Robbie-9-Fowler View PostHe had a good 2nd half.

Not quite sure how Wenger churns out these LB's to be honest. And i agree Coel and Clichy were unreal at first. I reckon he'll do well for Arsenal, their defensive looks fragile at moment. What has happened to Vermalen?? Maybe the calamity that is Mertesacker & Sagna is unbalancing him?
Good game though and good result for us. Both teams look great attacking but fragile in defense.

Koscielny and Vermalen have both been in and out of form over the past year so it's a tough one, maybe its concentration? Maybe they feel the need to cover for Mertesaker and his lack of pace? But Vermalen today when Ba got through did really well after making an awful mistake.Originally posted by danperkins View PostHe looked so fragile defensively when he burst onto the scene but has improved. Lack of a covering midfielder is major issue for Arsenal IMO. They need more quality there.Originally posted by Robbie-9-Fowler View PostKoscielny and Vermalen have both been in and out of form over the past year so it's a tough one, maybe its concentration? You said something along the lines of talk about your own club?Originally posted by rcasemoreExactly it's the "GENERAL FOOTBALL"section try posting about that than calling people cowards etc....... childish, boring and very, very, very dull
And is there an age limit on this site? If you find it childish, ignore it. If you find it boring, ignore it. It's his opinion he's a coward, so what's the problem? It's relevant because the game has literally just been on and Torres was poor and boo'd off the pitch.
It's your problem, he's not doing anything I'd consider wrong on a forum.Vive la France

Mertesacker's lack of pace is so evident, always thought he'd be a disaster signing in the premier league. I really like Vermalen, cracking player maybe just out of form. But yeah it was a fantastic recovery for the Ba chance.

Yeah, it's hard to rely on Coquelin to try and play that role, he's really inexperienced and Hazard, Mata and Oscar are all brilliant at controlling that space.Originally posted by Mattshark View PostLack of a covering midfielder is major issue for Arsenal IMO. They need more quality there.
Diaby was punished today by Ramirez' work rate, he just pestered away for the entire 1st half.Vive la France

Thank you. Dont think it's doing any harm, maybe being a bit repetitive but anyone else who didn't like it managed to ignore it and move on easily enough.Originally posted by Robbie-9-Fowler View PostYou said something along the lines of talk about your own club?

I stand by it aswell, the way he **** out of that physical challenge that give Arsenal the Walcott goal was cowardly and thats pretty much the norm for him now.
