    Welcome to,

'How to make an article double in length by saying everything twice' by The Daily Mirror

The best thing about that article is the sly dig at 'Arry just being interested in the January transfer window. Anyway, I have little to no sympathy for QPR and I would gladly see them relegated.

Tough on him given what he did getting them up but all their fight seems to have gone so I guess something fresh is the only possible way out. They wont stay up either way mind.

Di Canio was at the game on Saturday be a bold appointment if they went for him.

Paolo Di Canio has been installed as the odds-on favourite to take over as the manager of Reading, following the sacking of Brian McDermott.

Di Canio, who ended his eventful 21 months in charge of Swindon Town three weeks ago, watched Reading's 2-1 defeat by Aston Villa at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday. McDermott left his job with the Royals lying second bottom of the Premier League, despite the 51-year-old having guided the largely unfancied club to the top flight last season. He was appointed in 2009.

Di Canio holds obvious appeal because he is currently out of work after quitting Swindon, whom he led to promotion from League Two as champions in April. The Italian has also been linked with a possible return to West Ham United should Sam Allardyce not extend his contract beyond this summer but it is his choice of weekend match venue which has triggered fervent Reading speculation.

Di Canio's only management experience is his spell at Swindon and he left them well placed to earn a second successive promotion. Other names linked with the Reading post include Nigel Adkins, and Roberto Di Matteo. The situation regarding Adkins, however, is complicated by the fact he is not yet thought to have agreed a settlement over compensation with Southampton, who sacked him in mid-January.

That rug really tied the room together.

Wins for Southampton and Villa today have opened up a big gap between the bottom 3 and the rest. Reading and QPR now 7 points from safety, Wigan 6 points from safety but with two games in hand. It's looking like QPR, Reading and one other for the drop.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Manager Harry Redknapp has said that bottom-placed QPR need to win up to five of their remaining eight games to avoid Premier League relegation.

How many games have QPR won *ALL* season, I hear you ask?!

                      Four.

QPR and Reading must be gone now

I hope Sunderland fall into it

                        Or West Ham

I never understand why promoted teams sack the manager who got them promoted when they're struggling against relegation.

What were they expecting - a late run at the CL places?

The short-termism of so many people in the game is astounding.

Stoke only 4 points from the drop zone if Wigan win their game in hand.

Would love that shower to get relegated

I'd love West Ham to go down, then that way in my head I could excuse them for not taking Andy Carroll as promised
