        I drove past St Mary's earlier this afternoon. There were three people there: a reporter checking his mobile, a bloke holding a camera and another one holding a microphone wrapped up in one of those fluffy mufflers that look like Nigel.

        Those three apart, it was a cold and windy concrete desert.

        What a job.

                Yes it's good. It's also only a five month contract so how much is he really forgoing? And when you consider the PR benefit...

                I know, very cynical of me. And I don't dispute it's a fine thing for him to do and reflects well on him.

                All I'm saying is it may also reflect well on his advisers too.
