Well, no. To be dropped he'd have had to have been playing and he hasn't for fitness reasons. He's on the bench because the manager feels the current CB's are playing well and it'd be harsh to drop them which Terry said in an interview recently. Also I agree if results go against them the media will put the pressure on and give it the old 'if our big JT was playing we'd have won'.
