Unless this wakes them up and they panic, throwing an extra £10m/£15m towards Suarez they'll have missed out on 3 targets. Who does that realistically leave them?

You wouldn't go into a car dealership and offer £10,000 for a £15,000 car when clearly others are interested at the actual price.

If they don't make a couple top quality signings this summer, there is going to be some huge pressure on them. All this talk of £100m budgets, breaking transfer records 3 times in a week, it's just going to look like they took their fans for mugs, because frankly, they have a history of doing so
