Gateshead made it to the play-offs but refused their place as they don't make the criteria for entry in to the EFL. The National League totally supported Gateshead and the criteria missed is that they can't secure a 10yr tenure from their local council for the ground they occupy.
Aldershot Town, who occupied the spot below the playoff places, got a bit excited but the league has said that Gateshead's place won't be offered to anyone else. It means that Solihull Moors now get a by straight in to the playoffs away to Bromley (where I have a ST) It feels unfair on Bromley, and will be the 3rd time in a row that we've played a home game against Solihill Moors with the two previous games being the FA Trophy semi-final, which was won easily by Solihull Moors and then the league fixture last weekend which Bromley cruised to victory in. Impossible to call, Bromley heavily rested players yesterday which may now backfire

There'll be a new side promoted to league football next season, either Bromley FC or Solihull Moors.
Went to Bromley vs Altrincham today and Bromley have really hit form at the right moment. Solihull bashed Barnet though so it'll be tough. I've decided not to travel to Wembley and will watch on TV instead as I don't really want Bromley to gain promotion, for entirely selfish reasons
