He's crap. No doubt someone will trot out his numbers, which aren't bad overall, but I think he's largely ineffectual. Does nothing.

I don't know if I want Spurs or Arsenal to get 4th.
My reasoning being that if Arsenal get it then they'll improve their team but Bale will likely leave Spurs for CL football leaving them pretty much equal in terms of quality which means we might have a good chance of catching up with them.
But if Spurs get 4th then they'll strengthen even further pushing 4th place even further out.
**** it I want Arsenal to get 4th.Was muß, das muß.

Yep, would be really good to see that although I am sure it would spur them on (no pun intended, believe it or not!) to spend really big this summer.Originally posted by Sarb View PostWould love Arsenal to miss out on 4th. I really couldn't see it. They never spent big when they were in the Top 4. Dropping out of it and then deciding to spend big...wouldn't attract the same level of player I'd imagineOriginally posted by Tee View PostYep, would be really good to see that although I am sure it would spur them on (no pun intended, believe it or not!) to spend really big this summer.
I'd rather Spurs get it to be honest. Take Bale, I think they're not that great a side

Likewise, but I also don't want Spurs to get in. I think with AVB there, keeping Bale etc, they'd start signing some big hitters. If they manage to get an elite centre forward it will improve them exponentially, and CL would allow them to do that. They're minted enough as it is. How I long for the days when a Spurs XI included the likes of Chris Perry, Kevin Scott, David Kerslake, Jasons Cundy and Dozzell, Ruel Fox, Stuart Nethercott etc.Originally posted by Sarb View PostWould love Arsenal to miss out on 4th. It would probably be better if Everton got 4th then. At least that way we could see them knocked out in the qualifying round again, and their owners would just take whatever money they made.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostLikewise, but I also don't want Spurs to get in. Oh I loved them being knocked out by Villareal. It was hilarious
