If he leaves Madrid and doesn't end up at Chelsea he'll end up at another rich club somewhere i.e. Citeh or one of the emerging French sides.

I think failure is a strong word but he's certainly stalled with taking them forwards, he's just too divisive creating splits in dressing rooms.
