Interesting to see what Stoke do now as the players are drilled into a particular system. They could struggle next year.

Stoke football is not easy on the eye and i certainly won't miss seeing tony in his trademark hat.
Depends on how you look at it, from a purely results point of view he did an excellant job to get Stoke to the premier league and keep them there.
However when he got decent backing (for a club of that size) in the transfer market i don't think he used it well enough and ultimately imo that has led to his demise.
Players aren't robots, they are not limited to one setting/mode. just because they play hoofball under pulis does not mean they do not understand or cannot play a different style although some will probably remain set in their ways. the dean whiteheads of this world.Y.N.W.A!!!!!!

I don't think Mark Hughes is a terrible manager. He was **** at QPR, totally wank. But Blackburn and Fulham he did ok, took them both to 7th or something.
However, I do remember his teams being quite aggressive and physical though.*Except Michael, who died.Comment
