TBF he was devastated & it was a natural reaction to an almighty balls upOriginally posted by Rich View PostWhat annoyed me most wasn't the mistake, after all we've seen Gerrard do similar before, it was his reaction to it. The whole OTT hands on head and gormless look on his face which he seemed to continue with for a few minutes. What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

It seemed genuine to me, a proper "Oh noes" reaction. Some people are more demonstrative than others.Originally posted by Rich View PostWhat annoyed me most wasn't the mistake, after all we've seen Gerrard do similar before, it was his reaction to it. Did we?Originally posted by Yozza View PostToure rues defensive error
Kolo Toure admits he was left hugely disappointed by his error that allowed West Bromwich Albion to claim a point in Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool.
With the Reds leading by a goal thanks to Daniel Sturridge's opener, the centre-back misplaced a pass across the edge of his own area on 67 minutes, enabling Victor Anichebe to rifle home a leveller for the hosts.
"It was a terrible pass by me," Toure told the Liverpool Echo. "You have to make the right decisions and today I took a bad decision.
"It was my call. I should have passed to one of our players but instead I passed it straight to the striker.
"I just didn't see him [Anichebe]. I should have played it to Aly [Cissokho] on the side.
"I wasn't surprised to get the ball from Simon because that's the way we play.
"I made a very bad pass. I don't know why I passed the ball into the middle of the pitch, it was crazy.
"I'm disappointed for me and the team. It's hard to take, especially for me, because we played well.
"It's difficult to say what we have been talking about in the dressing room but the manager knows how disappointed I am. My pass put the team in a difficult situation."
The draw ensured Liverpool moved two points ahead of fifth-place Everton in the Barclays Premier League table, but Toure feels they should have taken maximum points at the Hawthorns.
He added: "It was a tough game but I thought it was a good performance.
"We should have won the game 1-0. We have missed an opportunity after United and Tottenham dropped points but the season is long. We just need to avoid these kind of mistakes.
"When you make mistakes it's important to bounce back and play better.
"I've made a few mistakes in my life and I'm still learning every day. I will learn from this."
**** it - move on
Kolo must have been watching a different game to the one I was watching!
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

It was'nt a great performance yesterday but all players make mistakes, so lets move on. I don't think we will make top 4, not just because of this, i don't think the squad is strong enough yet. We are good but not quite consistent enough. I believe we will make top 6 which is a good step forwards, i just hope that the next step to top 4 is not too big with the amount of money being handed out to Champions league teams. I would hate to lose Luis but if we get 100mill then that can be reinvested helping us to make that step up.
But hey if I'm wrong and we fluke top 4 this year, happy days.

I'll bite.
There's no Rose tinted glasses in here in think some just realise the league is competitive, we're still not as strong as we'd like (no real shock) and there's no devine right to beat teams.
And we've moved another point closer to our target, should have been more but mistakes happen
