Surely not

I doubt that we will sign any £20m+ player before Suarez is sold. IMO a lot of money will go the expansion of Anfield.
That is why I don't believe we have a realistic chance to finish in the top four until the Anfield project is finished.
Rodgers won't moan about it that much. A top class etablished manager would.
That is the main reason to why we signed up Rodgers IMO. That and that he is a very good manager developing young talents.Stop the cyberhate

No. Not even if we again finish in seventh place or worse. He is staying long term IMO.
If FSG would spend a lot of money this summer then they would also sacked Rodgers and let a new manager spend the money.
It will cost to much money to sack Rodgers and start all over again next summer.Stop the cyberhate

Could also be the case.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostTBH haven't the most recent reports said we were "ready to meet their valuation"?
I imagine now Carroll has gone we'll whack a bid in. Still think we'll get him.
I think the deal is done between us and the player but not the club. This of course also means that I believe that Suarez will be sold sooner or later this window.Stop the cyberhate

This might explain things:
Source names owners of Henrikh Mkhitaryan transfer rights
June 19, 2013 - 13:35 AMT
PanARMENIAN.Net - Multiple reports of the Armenia and Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s transfer to Liverpool FC have flooded media.
However, aware of the prolific player’s potential, his current owners are not in a hurry to strike a deal, lest they might make a bad bargain, Sport-Express said.
‘Owners’ being a key word here, Shakhtar Donetsk, the president of the Football Federation of Armenia Ruben Hayrapetyan and a major businessman Oleg Mkrtchyan share rights to the player.
To find a way out while trying to please all the sides, a world known football agent Mino Raiola was invited. A true master of his trade, Raiola got representatives of several top football clubs to vie for Mchitaryan, with the list including Juventus, Milan, Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham.
Seems like Mhitaryan is only a step away from becoming the most expensive player in post-Soviet space. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
