Watching those clips he reminds me a bit of Dirk. Very hardworking and makes great runs into the box without being particularly skillful or flashy. Much pacier than Dirk though obviously. I think he'd be a good signing, but is he really a £20m player?

Can't compare to anyone I can think of. Excellent at breaking late into the box like Gerrard was, more skilful than Gerrard and a better dribbler, but obviously lacking in other areas.

I think a 4231 with Coutinho on the left, Sturridge central and Mik in behind is promising. Suarez on the right would have been class, mixing it up with Studge in the middle, I guess Aspas is similar to both of them and would provide excellent cover.

If Luis goes its a problem, but someone like Muriel would soften the blow. Still think we look weak in CM, but if Lucas reaches level he was at we'll look stronger. Same goes Allen, hit the level he started at and we'll look like we have depth.

He looks like he can control a ball too. Another difference to Dirk. His first touch was about 4 yards in front of him

Anyone who thinks Rodgers is gonna dramatically change the squad is kidding themselves. I expect two players to leave at most. A whole pack of new players whilst very exciting for fans to see them play, is like Rodgers shooting himself in the foot. It would be back to square one for him, and we might not even have a better squad overall.
