No, in short its just football.

The 4-2-3-1 formation has always been a favorite of mine on Football Manager. 2 DMs keeping things tight in the middle, 3 creative players making things happen, and one bloke as the focal point to get a good % of the goals.

4-3-3 is another way of it working, but with the front 3 being mobile and all switching around (Which I think we saw from us last year a fair bit)
    *Except Michael, who died.

Rodgers' 4-2-3-1 is more fluid than Rafa's.
      Are we winning?

I don't don't why people continue to include Suarez in their line ups.
If Suarez is here when the transfer window closes I'll eat my hat and you can qoute me.

Me either mate, as far as I'm concerned it's "when" and not "if" he goes.

I can already quote you, getting away on the cheap there!

Echo saying Ryan will only arrive if Suarez is sold. So I guess we're going after Ryan then.

So if Suarez doesn't leave, we won't need a new midfielder?

The two are unlinked, the Echo is talking poop on this one. Mick is to help our forwards - not replace one of them.

You've just reminded me of the bit when Skinner asks himself "What would Superintendent Chalmers do?", imagines Chalmers saying "Skin-ner!!!" and then says to himself, "Hmm, that doesn't help".
                      .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

You would hope so Stu. The way The Times, Guardian and Telegraph reported it was the opposite. He was our main target regardless of whether Suarez went or not. It would be pretty stupid to follow up our interest in him only when Suarez goes, bearing in mind Madrid have no manager and are probably in no rush to get that deal done much before the end of August, because they appear to want him on the cheap.

I can see us being left short again if we deal the way the Echo are reporting it

I can't see the two being linked, it would make no sense unless Mick is one option for players in this mould and there are others but a goalscoring midfielder.

Because he is still a Liverpool player...

Wouldn't believe it the way some people on this wonderful place we call the internet go on though.
The times they are a changin'.

Maybe some accept he won't change his mind and hence don't include him in their line-up for next season. I'm not holding my breath that he'll still be here
