I doubt it - he's just 20. BR referred to players who could come in and make an immediate impact. Alberto would come in as well as someone like Mkhitaryan IMO.

You'd hope so mate. I guess Alberto probably wouldn't come in and be a 1st team regular. Aspas is probably the forward he was referring to (Bascombe bracketed him too). If HM is a target then you'd expect some sort of move when Carroll is shipped on

I liked what Rodgers said recently about trying to add another 20 goals to the team. If we'd scored 20 more goals last season we'd have got 91, which would have made us top scorers in the league

I think you might be right. We need a proper link between midfield and attack, a Gerrard of a few years ago if you like
