He is the captain so he was getting them together. I can remember the players who had the most problem but i think it was Ambrose and Jimmy F Hass

      Makes sense.

If it is genuinely a split dressing room it is hard to see who would take over, they will have very little to spend in January as they spent more than they have for years in the summer. It's a real shame as I like both Carlton and Dowie.

**** knows but i've lost a lot of respect for Charlton as a club over this, there usually very loyal to their managers and are generally a very close, tight-knit run club.

He said Dowie is a good coach, something about being good managing down but not so good managing up whatever the hell that means. It sounded like he had a smile on his cricket ball-coloured face. He was asked if he wished him well or sympathised (can't remember which) and effectively said, "No".
              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Not really surprising. I can see why he would be bitter towards Dowie.

Roy was saying yesterday that Dowie was sure he would get the Preston job when he left Palace (to be nearer his family) and when he didn't Charlton came up. Seeing as he had left to be near his family and ended up back in London, Jordans anger is only to be expected. MAybe he will get his wish of being near his fanily now, it is entering the traditional period for managers to be sacked.

Shame liked Dowie and thought he would have done a good job. Not like Charlton this.

He's a sanctimonious old ****. Just to be clear Neil Jordan that is.

Simon Jordan is great. Wouldnt want him as chairman but he really is great for the game.

Ian Dowie is a very, very average manager, it's that simple.

He took palace down, then failed to take them back up with the best squad of players in the league.

And now he's failed with Charlton.
