it's horrendousF*ck me, I couldn't disagree more with you lot about Spain's style of play. I thought it was incredible to watch.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostI hate watching Spain. Destroyers of football. Cheating cunts too.
The fault for the fact it wasn't much of a game lay with Uruguay.
The cheating gets a bit much but I don't think Spain have a monopoly on it.

I quite liked the fog comment. It doesn't totally work but as a mood simile it's evocative and feels right enough.
Unless he meant it's like playing against captainfog in which case it's even better.

Iniesta was sublime at times last night.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Imagine if we played like that?! The Spain cynics would be creaming themselves silly

Exactly what I thought - he could have got his hand to it but pulled it away!Originally posted by PTP View Postwhat happened in the italy vs mexico game - was the mexican keeper on a bung
free kick curled in, he dived across and pulls his hands away from the ball haha
Even Casillas seemed to let Suarez's one through by not stretching to make it - I honestly thought he should have done better with it but it was not as blatant as the Mexico keeper.
