I'd have a quiet wank if we manage to sign Deulofeu.

Why? What's to lose? If he helps us out then great. There's still a chance we'd be able to convince him to sign after a successful year with us.Originally posted by spider-neil View PostIf it's a loan with no option to buy then I hope it doesn't happen.
Conversely if he's a flop we then don't have to sign him.

That compilation, as most others, made him look much better than he actually is.Originally posted by Tee View PostHe looks unbelievable. That is an amazing compilation. If we get him I think I am going to faint.
I think he can add to the squad but we shouldnt' be expecting a top notch player at this point in his career.
There is lot in his game that requires tons of improvement but he had very good connection with Alberto at Barca B, which to me is what attracted BR to him.
That said, as much as I think he is a good talent having him could reduce playing time for Sterling but I can understand why BR wants to improve winger options without a need to spend any money except modest wages.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

If he's great he'll help us win more points and finish higher in the league, maybe even the top 4. It's that simple to me. Help us get back into the CL in his one season and I'm not arsed what happens after that. If there is a gap to fill, we'll be in a much better place from which to do it.
Suarez has been great and inevitably there is now, or will be, a gap to fill cos he's ****ing off somewhere 'better'. We can't not buy (or even loan) potentially great players for fear of them actually being great and ****ing off after a year or two. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I reckon some are over hyping the likes of Gerard and Alberto. The stats show they had good seasons last yr with barca B but thats the segunda. Just because they play for a barca team does not mean they will improve us.
Personally I highly doubt a 19 yr old with no top league experience is going to be a starter in our team let alone 'make the difference' that helps us get into the top 4. If there is no option to buy then I can't see why we would do it. Sterling and co. already have prem experience and are good enough to play the substitute role after 60-70 mins.Y.N.W.A!!!!!!

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
