Looks decent there. Some great short passing and through balls. Always looking to move the game forward.

Personally I thought looked very good too.

Slick passing, good awareness, nice first touch, moves well with and without the ball etc.

Too bad he didn't score when he had the chance but I like him a lot.

I think he was aiming to curl in a shot but the defender was too close and forced him to aim at the keeper.

I thought he had way too much time and space which kinda surprised him.

You decided not to include his wank shot/cross right at the start of 2nd half? Looked good otherwise.

He looked a little leggy at times. Pre season training must have been quite intense and new to him. But had some nice touches and through balls.

These games are all about fitness and it seemed to me he needs some work still.

Hope he doesn't get used to it because it's only going to last for another week

I've been in that position when you've not nothing in the tank and it looks like you're running in treacle but like you say its all good preparation for the season ahead.

we've got a lot of young lads in the squad, and we need some experienced players too. We can't start the season relying on sterling, Ibe, Luis Alberto and even coutinho to fire us forward.

things will change but as it stands now our squad has to be one of the youngest in the premier league.

Glass half full Dan, I reckon it's going to keep going for at least another month
