Initially looked uninterested, specially defensively. But laid on some good balls and demonstrated awareness and touch we've been lacking while suffering Hendo, Downing, Spearing and Shelvey. Not a first teamer this season though.

I see him as an attacking midfielder. Classy player who had great awareness and vision. Should develop into a really key player for us I reckon.

I think he's a first sub type option - can play on the (inside) left of the front three, as one of the advanced players in the midfield three, as a genuine 10 or, less likely, as a false nine.

I really like the look of him. I imagine his best position is attacking mid, central - either a number 10 or a bit deeper. His range of passing looks excellent - nice vision and strikes a lovely ball. I'd like to see him and Coutinho in the same side.

That's a good shift he put in there. Not sure how many chances he'll get this season to start but he could be a good option off the bench or a 6 month loan after Xmas may be the go.
