I've never seen him play but very few players are worth that kind of money, they only ones that are worth it are the well known superstars like Falcao, Suarez, Ronaldo etc.

Ridiculous price. I'd rather we kept our money for someone actually worth the price being asked for them rather than spunk it in desperation because we need a 'marquee ' signing.

Its only that Willian isn't any good but rather he doesn't look arsed half the time. He has talent but we need to see desire.

Williams talent plus kuyts desire would be some player and one hell of a *******isation

So why are we taking this 50m quoted price as gold now? Because if there's anything we've learned over the past transfer window, it's that Eastern European-based journalists are never, ever wrong.

We're definitely not going to pay that much for him, so if they end up asking that much we walk away and find another target. But they won't ask that much, because they only paid £30m or so for him six months ago, they need to sell, and no one else will pay near that amount.

Because its been said Anzi have had and rejected a bid in excess of €40m from an unnamed side earlier this summer.

They are getting rid of a few players first so that they are in a position to hold out for what they would consider proper fee's on some players, including Willian by the looks of it. If they can't find a buyer soon maybe the price will drop but he definitely won't be going for buttons.

Apparently, it was man city that had a bid rejected earlier this summer.

Now that we've made an enquiry I hope we either make a bid or move on. Non of the dilly dallying

Really? All I've seen is a few (poorly-sourced) rumors that City bid something like that before the firesale started.

He may go above what we want to pay, which seems to be about £30m. And he won't go for buttons, no. But he's not going to go for €50m, either.

To be fair, Neymar plays the LW position.

Willian will be desperate to succeed where ever he goes especially in World Cup year and doubly so with the World Cup being held in Brazil. But if the 50m Euros is true I think that puts a pin in that one.
