I mean. I dunno about that. Indeed, if you take Van Persie out of their team, they're pretty ****e, but they could say the same about us sans Suarez. One thing is true: we're definitely far less jammy than they are. We lose when we should have won matches. They win when they should have lost. Haha.

Firepower, they've always invested heavily in their forwards and it's always paid dividend.

I am not so sure. They have a confidence and way of playing that just gets them goals, and it is IMO the way they are so measured in the final third that gets them out of many tricky matches.

And you are spot on about their jamminess, it is just unreal how lucky they have been (at critical times) in the last 20 years.
