Had to turn Chelseas game off.. Gala are ****ing appalling. Turned on Madrid game and Ronaldo scores another. 13 goals in 7 games in Champs league.. insane. Bale has so many assists this season.

He's like Ronaldo MKII. Just quicker/ stronger/ more athletic than most footballers so how do you stop him?

Also, massive credit for the way he's come into that side and established himself (especially with the burden of world's most expensive footballer). The fee doesn't really get mentioned anymore as I think it was justified.

There are some people who are deluded (ability does not match their confidence) but him pushing through the move to Madrid came down to the fact that he knew he'd rip it up wherever he went. He's an amazing footballer.

We had this debate about him being world class last season. I think he is making it very clear that he sits very comfortably in that bracket and even at £80m he looks more than a good signing for Madrid.

Suarez is as insanely good as Bale. Both are not as good as Ronaldo/Messi though. I wouldn't have batted an eyelid signing Bale for £80m last summer. Just like Arsenal shouldn't have raised their eyebrows at our (unspoken) £80m valuation of Suarez.

These players do not come along often.
