And it was even against one of the most average teams to ever play in the CL playoffs as well. Christ, Olympiakos hardly did anything but shoot from outside the area!

Agree with all of thatOriginally posted by Darkon View PostThe utd performance tonight was some of the worst I have seen from an away team in the CL playoffs. Shockingly poor, not even 1 decent crack at goal and more or less outdone for 80 min and only a bit of pressure in the end.
Nothing to take aaway from that match except that at least they didn't lose by more.
Watched the game - two poor teams - but Utd were shocking. As a team, and individually, shocking.
Another MASSIVE game

****ing excellent viewing!
Rooney (£300k a week) dropped into a deep sitting midfield role (poor man's Gerrard). Ferdinand and Vidic both looked like characters from 'Last of The Summer Wine'. RVP just looks as if he can't be arsed. Cleverley had a great game.....

I really, really hope Ferdinand plays against us at Old Toilet. Can you ****ing imagine? Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling against Ferdinand

Cleverley was so bad. Anyone see at the start of the 2nd half when he woefully misplaced a pass across his back four and he started jumping around in anger at himself
With regards Ferdinand - Physioroom says Evans and Jones will be back on March 8th. We play them March 16th. Evans is pants but United fans think he's God
.....but would much rather face Ferdinand.
If Smalling plays at right back
we should not bother pressing him and give ourselves an extra man as it were. I've never seen anyone at this level worse than him on the ball.

The two clubs have enjoyed a special relationship ever since they met in the Champions League in 2004 – a competition the Reds would famously go on to win that season - and if any further proof was needed about the bond that has grown between both sets of supporters, it was evident on Tuesday night when Olympiacos hosted Manchester United.
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

I remember that, they were amazing fans. I couldn't get rid of my spare and so took a good mate who supports United and he loved it.Originally posted by Liverpool View Postwe played them in 2001, they sang jingle bells for 90 minutes
They also sang their version of 'The Entertainer', which sounded amazing and at that point hadn't been heard over here as a football chant. We took it a few years later for the 'best midfield in the world' song.
