    Is there a reason behind the choice of Eddie the Eagle as your mascot? My friend is a fan (and sometime reported on) Col U and the fluffy Eddie toy he bought his one year old is faintly psychotic looking (the baby loves it nonetheless suggesting taste may be hereditary).

                It's something to do with Colchester being the Roman capital of Britian.
                Don't quote me on that though.
