I don't want to judge him but have you seen his responses on twitter. He seems a bit naive by saying he followed them to see what they were about but didn't agree with their views so decided to unfollow. I don't believe that one bit. As if he's never heard of edl and what they represent

I'm 37 and until fairly recently I'd never heard of them. An 18 year old footballer? Come on. Even if he did know and followed them, problem? Hardly. Finding his feet in the world, perhaps he's easily influenced, like a lot of youngsters can be, perhaps he agrees with their views, doesn't mean he is evil. Naive yes. At 18 your views can be blinkered and influenced by those around you. To abuse the lad is bang out of order.

You are entitled to your opinion. I'm from Nottingham (approx 14 miles away from Derby) and know Derby pretty well as I have quite a few friends over there. I find it very hard to believe that you can live in Derby and not have heard of edl, bnp etc. That place is well known for their right wing politics. I'm not abusing the kid but things like this will need to be looked into by the club for obvious reasons.

Just watching the u-tube vids of him. He certainly has something about him, that touch of class on the ball and off it. That write up about him from a Derby fan was spot on, he gets involved, and for a wiry lad he can hold his own, even at this young age.

He has nice vision and great awareness too, constantly surveying his surroundings and making note of who is where, even playing some Cout'esque like passes into space.

Like the look of him, if we got him i'd be happy.

That's stretching it a bit - I know what you mean but Derby's been pretty much solid Labour since the war. There are pockets of BNP/EDL, but that's really more Ilkeston way, closer to Nottingham but a place both Nottingham and Derby would disown!

Anyway, there's no evidence that he supports them or agrees with them, just that he follows them on twitter. I followed Piers Morgan for a while. He looks class, sign him up!
