I agree he looks a talent, my only concern is his apparent lack of pace.

He is talented but i agree fairly time & at a higher level he won't get time nor the space he is getting at moment. Does have ability though no doubts.

I'm not sure that need be a massive concern for the type of player he is (from the little I've seen of him). Seems to be a midfield playmaker type, and pace isn't necessarily crucial for them (see Molby, Alonso etc).

the intelligent midfielders know when to run, when to draw the opposition on to them and then give a killer pass to set someone else up.
this lad has game intelligence and the all important man strength.

Links go back a long time now, we've been following him for a year or so if you believe them. Its also well known he's a proper Liverpool fan, not like Willian who liked us kind of thing.

Manchester United ready to launch January swoop for Derby youngster Hughes

Manchester United manager David Moyes wants to sign Derby County midfielder Will Hughes in the January transfer window.

The United boss is not convinced that January purchases are the way forward but is keen on signing the youngster.

Predominantly left-footed, the 18-year-old is seen as one of the best young talents in the Championship and has already made almost 50 appearances for the Rams.
