I've picked up on this too.

I quite liked Vertonghen going by the odd game at Ajax. Then, in his first season at Spurs, he looked quite a classy centre-back. However, watching him more closely in the Premiership and perhaps this season in general, his recent actions and general attitude are making him come across as a weapon.
