Karim Benzema did not turn up at the Bernabéu when the 20 players picked by Carlo Ancelotti for the clash with Celta Vigo were supposed to arrive. According to 'Cuatro', the squad decided to leave without the Frenchman after waiting for him for several minutes.

The group of players and the coaching staff travelled by bus to Ciudad Real Madrid, where they will rest for a couple of hours before the game kicks off.

excellent manager & has developed a fantastic side. Hopefully they can retain their players next season. Great to see it not just Barca vs Madrid..... two horrible clubs.

To be fair, I have loved watching Barca over the last few years, but in the last season or two their games have become boring to watch. They don't have the same fire they had under Pep, and their players often look lethargic. It's good enough to beat crap teams every week that are Championship level, but I honestly think they'd struggle in the Premier League right now. This isn't 2008-2012 Barca.

Maybe I worded it badly. By struggle, I meant they'd have a points tally akin to City/Chelsea/Arsenal rather than their current ridiculous "600 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss".

They wouldn't walk the league.
